| Steve Ferguson and his dad planted malting barley in the Fall of 2014 to supply grain for a new brewery in Kintnersville PA, Great Barn Brewery, which opened in 2015. The family operates a farm in Kempton PA as well as Kintnersville and stores all their grain in a purpose-built storage facility on the brewery's premises. Double Eagle malts their farm-grown barley for all the base malts used by Great Barn Brewery and purchases excess for sale to other brewers and distillers. Back to Our Farmers main page |
